Faith and our flesh
Hebrews 11:1.. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. It would be good to go and read all this chapter. I am going to share with you some things, I have learned concerning faith and our flesh.
No matter what it seems like, looks like, nor any such like. Faith keeps walking. It's not by your five senses, see, feel, hear, touch, taste, flesh reasons.
It's believing when there's no human possibility. No way you can work it out, not way to figure it out, no way at all. No human abitlity, remember it's his ability, not yours. It is totally over for you. Like Daniel in the lions den.
Three Hebrew children in the fire. Moses at the red sea. Sampson with the jaw bone of an ass. And on and on, thousands of examples.
Faith keeps moving, when the flesh is screaming turn back. Faith prays when flesh is screaming, you are wasting your time. Flesh see's no results. But faith is believing with out seeing. No matter what the flesh is saying in your carnal mind, if you keep going and doing what ever, that is faith. Flesh is screaming and telling you how you can't.....for example, play music, God says present your self set down and watch me get in your fingers. If you will take the first step, when I say move. Flesh says I can't think of nothing to testify about. God says stand up and I'll fill your mouth. Just stand up, and watch. Faith stands up, doubt sets there.
God says go preach.. flesh says I can't, no way. Faith says, trust me to do it for you. I will put the word in you and in your mouth. Just obey. Flesh is terrified and wants to run, don't let it, faith makes it obey. God says pray for someone. Flesh says you're not worthy or you can't think on the words to say or God want move for you. Or you're not worthy. Just move and watch him. You have to move, as though your flesh is not saying nothing. God says get out of the bed and pray
Flesh says it want do no good. Faith makes the flesh obey and gets up..
God says crusify your flesh, Flesh says no way. Crusifying the flesh is praying and obeying God no matter, what the flesh feels, thinks, see's, what ever your flesh feels or thinks or says to you, pray anyway. Make your flesh do God's work. It's not by what we feel in the flesh it is moving by faith. Don't let your flesh have what it wants. Force it to obey God. Flesh reason's with God. God says do this and flesh says no way it can happen. Make the flesh move, that is faith. Forcing the flesh to move for God, with no feelings of the spirit at all. And when you do, God will be there waiting for you. He will not let you down. He was in the lions den with daniel, but he never moved until, daniel done his carnal things. Like his five senses in operation: His eyes seeing his bones crushed, as the lions eat him for dinner. His ears hearing the roar of the lions, and his flesh screaming to him, what was about to happen if he didn't do something. His nose smelling the dust that the lions was stering up. His inner man scared to death. His flesh screaming a million things to him. But his faith payed no attention to all of the things of the flesh, or what the flesh was feeling. But took a hold of faith and keep walking and talking how God would deliver him, but if not he would not bow to another god.
See you have to pray with your flesh fighting and screaming things to you. It works the same way. All the discouraging thoughts, that fill your mind. All the things that the flesh is feeling. You just keep praying and reading and fasting. And soon the spirit will be stronger than the flesh. And God will began to teach you his ways and his word. You never pray so much that, your flesh don't talk to you and try to stop you. You just get smarter, and learn what is happening and to not listen to the flesh. See God is spirit and flesh is in the way. We just have to drag the flesh along, when working for God. Flesh don't get sanctified, the Holy Ghost crusifys it. In other words, the spirit becomes stronger and rules. Long as you pray and obey God. If you don't the flesh will raise back up. And become stronger than the spirit. Flesh is always there to talk to you. That is what confuses a lot of christians, they think the flesh gets holy. But it don't, it will always be sinful and will draw to sinful things, that is why we have to let the spirit crusify it. The spirit is stronger than the flesh, when you die or pray through each day. If you don't the flesh rules and has its way. And will lead you back away from God if you don't, pray and let God rule. That is a daily battle, and plenty of christians don't understand that. Spirit is what is sanctified. So stop thinking you are holy, we are not. The only think that is holy is the Spirit of God in us. And it has to deaden the flesh out each day. Or flesh rules, it gets angry, selfish, envy, jealeous, lose tongue, etc. pray through and you will have the fruits of the spirit daily. Peace, joy, faith, gentleness, etc. The more you do this the stronger the Holy Ghost becomes in you and you began to have no problem with your flesh. Or not as much trouble, it will always try to have its way, but the Holy Ghost is stronger and makes it obey God. It's by the knowledge of God that we win this battle. With out it we will fall. God said his people perish for lack of knowledge. We can cross that red sea in front of us. Just keep walking. Move by faith, no matter what the flesh is saying or feeling. Faith can climb any mountain. It can conquer any battle. Trust and wait.
When God says move, move by faith. No matter what the flesh is screaming in your ears or feeling. He will be there waiting. Be sure and wait, don't be like Saul and not wait. We have to obey, God hates disobedience. We will always have the flesh to try to stop us. We can conquer all things through Christ, which strengeth us. Our biggest battle is our flesh. We have to learn how to let the Holy Ghost crusify our flesh. It's not so hard once you learn, what is happening. You will be so in love with Jesus, after feeling more and more of him, that you will absolutely force your flesh to shut up and obey. FOR THERES NOTHING THAT SATISIFYS LIKE JESUS. Nothing saten has to offer can compare to Him.. NOTHING! He trys to make you think he
does, but he is a liar and always will be.
